Carol M. Dennison, 79 of Bloomington passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 with her family by her side. Carol’s service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 11am at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington. Following the service burial will be held at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be held Friday from 10-11am at the funeral home. Slip on your favorite Blue Jeans and come to celebrate Carol’s life with her family. Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements. Carol was born to Robert E. and Mary (Pagos) Jones on August 12, 1944 in Bloomington. She is survived by her 4 daughters, Angie Bicknell-Umstattd, Bloomington; Tina Catlett, Kansas; Julie Dennison, Bloomington; and Kathy Dennison, Mackinaw. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and her brother, Bob Jones, Paxton. She is preceded by her parents; a son, Brian Bicknell; and her brother, David Jones. She worked and retired from Nestle Beich. She was very active in the union in which she was past President of the BCTGM Local 342. Carol grew up in the 1950’s and like most adored Elvis Presley. She was a huge fan of his and loved listening, even to this day, his music. Carol was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew her and loved her.
