Beverly Sue Nave, 79 of Bloomington passed away at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington on March 2, 2024. There will be a funeral service for Beverly at The Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Bloomington on Thursday March 7, 2023, at 6 PM. Pastor Brad Nave will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM at the church. There will be a private family entombment Friday at Park Hill Mausoleum in Bloomington. Beverly was born in Bloomington on July 7, 1944, to Willis and Dorothea Stewart Kessinger. She married James Nave on July 25, 1961, in Bloomington. He survives. She is also survived by two children, Annette (John) Fellows of Bloomington, Brad (Krista) Nave of Bloomington, eight grandchildren, Travis (Kim) Nave, Josh (Kallie) Nave, Cole (Laura) Nave, Taryn (Jason) Holt, Bradley (Andrea) Nave, Cymantha (Lucas) Schempp, Kylee Nave, Brayden (Gracie) Nave, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Willis Calvert (Carla) Kessinger of Stockton, California, and Jimmy Kessinger of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was preceded in death by one son Timothy Nave on February 21, 2016, and one brother Jearl Kessinger. Beverly was a lifelong member of The Apostolic Pentecostal Church where she was a preacher, teacher, and Sunday School teacher. She was a “mother” to many people over the years. She was a great cook and enjoyed playing the piano. Beverly retired in 1988, after twenty-five years at Beich’s Candy in Bloomington where she was Assistant Floor Leader.
