Stephen L. Walker

 

Stephen L. Walker, 54, of 24700 Camino Del Monte, Carmel, Calif., formerly of Bloomington, died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday (May 9, 1999) in Carmel. He had been ill eight months with cancer.

Mr. Walker was cremated. There will be no funeral or visitation.

Memorials may be made to Sun Street Centers, 11 Peach St. Salinas, CA 93901, or Illinois Wesleyan University.

He was born Oct. 11, 1944 in Peoria, a son of John Kenneth and Pauline Von Arx Walker.

Survivors include his fiance, Selena Van Cleve, Carmel; and a sister-in-law, Susan Walker, Bloomington.

Other survivors include an aunt Josephine Black, Long Beach, Calif.; and two nephews, Jack Walker, Glen Ellyn, and Scott walker, Valrico, FL.

His parents and a brother, John C. Walker, preceded him in death.

Mr. Walker was an art gallery director. He graduated from Bloomington High School in 1962 and from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1966.
