A. Lorraine Kraft
The funeral of Anna Lorraine Kraft, 90, of 2025 E. Lincoln St. and formerly of 1306 Clinton Blvd., both in Bloomington, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington.. The Rev. Bert L. Lancaster will officiate. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Wednesday before the service at the memorial home.
Miss Kraft, a retired Blooming ton High School teacher, died at 5:15 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 25, 1990) at Martin Health Center, Blooming ton.
She was born Sept. 1, 1899, at Towanda, a daughter of William T. and Carrie Brubaker Kraft.
She is survived by several cousins.
An infant sister preceded her in death.
Miss Kraft graduated from University High School in Normal and attended Illinois State Normal and Illinois Wesleyan Universities. She graduated from the University of Illinois in 1922 and received her master’s degree from Middlebury College n Vermont. She taught at Bloomington High School in English and math for 35 years.
She was a member of Wesley Methodist Church , Bloomington; Kappa Kappa Gamma social sorority; and Delta Kappa Gamma professional sorority; Bloomington/Normal Garden Club and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a volunteer at Home Sweet Home Mission and the Brokaw Hospital Service League. An avid photographer, she was a member of Kodaroamers.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
