Phil was a special person and golfer. I was on the BHS golf team that he led to the State Championship in 1964 and 65. In later summers, we went to see him play in various major tournaments in the Chicago area. Great memories!!
I am still searching for the picture of Phil and me in the front row of the Cherub choir at Second Pres. If I find it, I will post it. We were often pictured together since we were always the shortest. Phil was a great guy. He was the coach of the BHS students vs the Faclty basket ball game. He let me bang into the teachers, without much success.
