He was an all-around solid guy. Who would stand up for friends. We made a pact in the 4th grade. Doug Thorpe, Brian Howell n nick as well as I. Would always stand for each other outside Mr Baxters room in the hallways. At stadium drive. Was never really into it. But got talked into it by others. Brian pushed it. Long story short, getting back to nick. He grew up to be a solid guy as well as always looked out for n protected others. I know he passed robbing a store. We kind of parted ways in middle school. The bigs. Doug n Brian went on to sports. Me, I had to pay rent at age 12. Lol. He called me that night. Of all the people to call. Hadn't heard from him in awhile. Told him not to go back after I ran him into the dirt for even doing it. He said he wasn't going back. Apparently he did. All I can guess is he was covering for someone, as he was that kind of guy n blood brother. He's greatly missed. He was the kind of person that would lay on a sword for another.
