Gosh, I remember Karen so well! I'll never forget when she passed because she had been to my salon earlier that week and she just looked beautiful! She was a great person! I will never forget her sweet sense of humor and all her acts of kindness! She was a great mom!
Karen was one of the handfull of high school friends I still kept up with and who made the effort to keep up with me. She was a dear friend. She visited me in Baton Rouge. She told me that she went to visit my mom often and shared a bond with her. I was glad to hear that and it was something neither had ever shared with me. I'm gald to know that two of the dearest people to me comforted and supported one another. And I pray that they are together today, watching and praying over me.
Karen was very kind hearted. She tried to instill good values in her daughter Bridgette. Something I found out about Karen was that at Christmas, she and Bridgette would go toy shopping and share with Toys for Tots. This was not something she bragged about.. just something she did.
I think of you often friend and keep your picture out. I miss you K Mart love to you always kris
I'm sorry, I couldn't even go to your funeral. I guess after losing my husband to cancer, and then you, it was too much for me. I regret not saying good bye to you. You were always there for me no matter what!!! I think about you often... and wonder how things like death could happen? There's a saying that helped me through the rough times, "God makes things happen for a good reason, even though we may not be able to see it right now. I truly believe this! I love you and miss your big smile Tara Lorio Core-Lott
