I remember my first day of school in 7th grade. Finding my way to homeroom in that BIG NEW school was intimidating to say the least. Once homeroom was found, Ricky was the first one to greet me and welcome me. He always had a ready smile and would give the shirt off his back. Even through the rough times in his life Ricky always found time to laugh and share a good time. I was sorry to hear of his passing.
