Survived By: He is survived by his wife Olga; his parents, Philip and Carol Harper; his daughters Sonja and Michan; twin sons Dustin and Devon; step-son Sergiy, brother Rick and sister Sheri and many other relatives and friends.

Randall Lee Harper, 48 of Nampa, died Friday, January, 6th 2006, following a brief illness. He was born in Long Beach, CA, on July 8th 1957, moving to Boise in 1967. Randall was a talented and active musician; he also had a beautiful voice. He played percussion and drums for the Idaho smooth jazz group "Chalazon." He was a member of various other bands in the Boise and Seattle areas. In the early 1970 he played drums for the Christian group "The Union" which was formed from members of the church choir "The Singing Ambassadors" at Central Assembly of God Church in Boise. Randall relocated to the Seattle area for 20 years where he worked as an auto mechanic and also at Boeing as an aircraft mechanic. In 2001 he returned to the Boise area and worked for Hewlett-Packard as a help-desk support analyst. He was a great son, brother, husband, uncle, friend. And he will be missed dearly!

I'm not sure that this is the Randy Harper that was in our class.  The one that is in our 1976 year book was a friend of mine from church and in fact we shared a locker at school.  I was recently in Boise and visited with his mom and he is in fact alive and well living in the Lewiston area.
