Caleb and I were never close. I primarily remember him as the new kid from Oklahoma who arrived at Hillside Junior High during the 1987-88 school year. I got to know him mostly as a nearby classmate in Mr. Parsons' afternoon eighth grade science class. After that, I didn't stay in touch with Caleb except for when he and I shared a Physical Science class during our senior year.
After graduation, I encountered him briefly at a local downtown restaurant in late 1995. Caleb was still the same happy-go-lucky guy I remember, and I wished him good luck at the time. This website is where I learned last week of his passing a few years ago. I hope he enjoyed a good, happy life. Thank you.
