Norman Gallaway

PAMPA, May 7 - Pfc. Carey Norman Gallaway, 24, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carey O. Gallaway of 401 N, Zimmers, was killed Friday when a gasoline transport forced his military vehicle off U.S. Highway 10 near Snoqualmie Pass, Wash.

Pfc. Gallaway was an army mechanic stationed at Ft. Lewis near Tacoma, Wash. He was born Aug. 13, 1938, at Erick, Okla.

Surviving are his parents; three brothers, L.B. and James E. of Borger, and Robert L. of El Paso, and a grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Gallaway of Erick.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Duenkel-Carmichael Funeral Home.
