Jerry Jenkins of Wheeler, TX passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 in Wheeler at the age of 85 years, 4 months and 9 days. No services are scheduled.

Cremation and Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.

Jerry was born on May 28, 1938 in Smackover, AR to Clarence B. and Lovellia Christelia (Harmon) Jenkins. The family moved to Borger when he was a young boy. He married Donna Greenhouse Sosebee in Albuquerque, NM in June of 1983. Jerry was a truck driver for 10 years He worked for Groendyke and also Phillips in Borger. He and Donna moved to Wheeler in 2003. He was a member of the Shamrock Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time and working outdoors.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Lovellia and Clarence Jenkins; one son, Chris Jenkins; daughter-in-law, Peggy Jenkins; and his stepson, Kyle Sosebee.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Jenkins of Wheeler, TX; his stepdaughter, Ravonda Hardcastle and husband, Danny, of Wheeler; his stepson, Karl Sosebee and wife, Kim, of Amarillo, TX; and his daughter, Pam Clines of Florida
