Clyde Warren Tipton, 64, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, in Borger.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, at Westlawn Memorial Park with chaplain Bob Thomas of Crown of Texas Hospice officiating. Interment will be in "The Garden of the Good Shepherd" at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Tipton was born on Oct. 19, 1939, in Borger. He was the owner of Top Notch Cafe. He graduated from Borger High School in 1958 and attended Frank Phillips College. He was honored as FPC's first All-American Athlete in November 2003. He was First Team All-American in 1960 in basketball.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Warren, in 1966, and his mother, Warrena Tipton, on Dec. 24, 2003.

He is survived by a sister, Wanda Casida of Borger, and two nephews, David Casida and Tommy Casida, both of Borger.

Casket bearers will be Hugh Jackson, R. W. "Dick" Jackson, P. R. "Dick" Jackson, Jimmy Head, Kent Jackson and James Wilson.
