
LUBBOCK - Jana Lynn Hill, 49, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, in Albuquerque, N.M.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with John Hill officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Westlawn Memorial Park in Borger by Resthaven Funeral Home.
Born to James and Joann Huffine Mitchell, she grew up in Borger and graduated from Borger High School. She attended Texas Tech, then in 1980 graduated from West Texas A&M with a bachelor's degree in fine arts.
She was employed by Limscomb and Warren Advertising Agency as a commercial artist for 11 years, Fellers Advertising Agency and was a promotions manager for Fox 34. She was most recently working as an account manager with Kemps.
Jana enjoyed pottery and was a member of Llano Estcado Clay Guild.
She will be sadly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joann Mitchell.
Survivors left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Kendra and Jessilyn Hill; her father, James Mitchell and wife Evelyn; two brothers, Jerry Mitchell and wife Cassie and James Mitchell; two nieces, Hanna and Melissa Mitchell; a nephew, Austin Mitchell; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends.
The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
