He was predeceased by : his parents, LJ Sells and Maxine Sells; and his sister-in-law Janet Sells. He is survived by : his wife Rashele; his siblings, Kent of Amarillo, TX and Renea Ugarte (Marc) of Glendora, CA.; his children, Nathan Sells (Amanda) of Lubbock, TX, Jade Byars (Geoff Rockne), Mika Sells (Dallas Ledford), Landon Sells (Amber) of Borger, TX and Charlie Sells of Amarillo, TX.; his grandchildren, Fiona, Brixton, Dakota, Dominik, Isla, Nathaniel, Bexley and Boston; and his nieces, Natalie Wilson and Erica Shelton.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 21st 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Central Church of Christ (1401 S Monroe St, Amarillo, TX 79101).
