The last time that I saw Del was after returning home from Vietnam in 1966. He was married and had a nice home in Lynnwood. Del was a good guy and a very hard working and talented bricklayer. I recall being in awe of all the beautiful brick work he had done both inside and outside his home. Sadly, Del died young. I don't recall the date but I believe it was sometime in the 90's. Cause of death was a heart attack. Not something one would have expected considering his apparent excellent physical condition and age. Once again, the good died young! Don't know what that says about the rest of us...
