Yvette was such a beautiful, creative and talented friend. She will be truly missed.Christine McKay
I'm deeply saddened to hear that Yvette has passed. I feel so fortunate that we were able to reconnect in Montana a few years ago and I got to meet her wonderful husband, Ken. We hadn't known we lived in Missoula at the same time, many years before, but the afternoon we spent in Great Falls was so joyful. She gave me a special painting, a closeup looking into the beauty of a horse's eye and into its soul. I cherish it. Our mutual love of horses and art were wonderful to share in the few phone conversations we had. Sadly, we lost touch again and I'm feeling the loss, wishing she hadn't suffered from Parkinson's. So many mention her beautiful soul. So very true. I wish Ken and all of her family peace and comfort. I'll miss your laughter and sweet spirit, Yvette. May you ride the crests of the Milky Way on a gorgeous horse...

So sad to hear of the loss of another beautiful classmate. I have fond memories of Yvette from school. She was so very sweet and kind. Words are not enough, however, and we wish comfort to her family. I too have a love of horses and enjoyed the message from Christine McKay, the vision of Yvette riding a gorgeous horse on the Milky Way. It put a smile on my face. God Bless her soul.

I am so sad to hear that Yvette has passed. She lived behind me when we were in High School and I loved visiting her and hanging out. So sad to hear that another one of our classmates is no longer with us. Such a loving person and I will cherish our memories. My fondest is of a skit we preformed as sophomores in front of the school. She talked me into it, and I am glad she did. Hugs and prayers to her family❤️

I am so sorry to hear of Yvettes passing. At least I know she is not in pain anymore. We had a wonderful visit at their place in Cave Creek AZ a few years ago. I loved her many paintingsand bronze works she made. I also have a couple of CD's with music she wrote. She was a very beautiful person both inside and out. I had the urge to call her this summer but couldn't find her phone number. (I know I have it.) I wonder if she was thinking about letting me know she was leaving. I will miss talking with her. My heart goes out to Ken.
