Lee lived on a large chicken ranch were the "New Bothell" now resides.  One day Dick Sperling, Lee and me were delivering a load of eggs.  It was in about a 61 econoline ford.  He says watch me pop a wheelie.  We were on the Bothell Everett highway.  He slams the truck into reverse and then jams it into 1st.  It poped a wheelie all right.  The rear doors opened and about 3/4 of the egg load exited the rear.  Biggest omlet I ever saw.  I did now envy his return to the ranch.

Lee and I were good friends.  He and I used to fish together on North Creek, which ran through his parent's chicken ranch.  I also remember, painfully, watching him giving himself insulin injections on on our bus trips to Snoqualmie Pass for our skiing adventures.  And I also remember that little '57 T-Bird that he drove.  He was always a very good friend to all of us, and we cherish all of the moments we were blessed to have with such a special person.  God bless you Lee, and thank you for all the special times.  God bless your soul.  Your friend, Skip.
