School Story:

Apologies to the spirit of Harold Wright for all the times I got him in trouble in Mrs. Carlson's sophomore English class. (And for dismantling his bed and hiding it in the store room at Highland Hall years later.)

Toni, I taught school in Footscray, Victoria (Melbourne suburb) in '73 and '74. And took my 5 year old daughter on a trip to Alice Springs so I know what you mean when you say a 'million stars'. Hope I have the chance to talk with you on the 19th about your life there--since it was such a difficult decision for us to return to the USA in '75.
