I am so sorry to hear of Al's passing. We had a chance to talk at the 50th and I enjoyed it greatly. Al and I lived close to each other before we moved to West Hill and I remember that I was struggling to learn how to ride a bike and it wasn't happening with my Dad. Al came down one day and was very positive about my "getting it" and by the time he was done being patient with me I was up and at em. I have never forgotten that and appreciated his friendship and patience when others may have taken the opportunity to make fun of my struggles. RIP Al and thanks again all these years later.

Al was a great man, we had got together several times in the past few years and remanissed about old times and talked of people we knew.
I will miss Al, he was a good friend, not during school, but long after.
