Ken Rebane died in July of 2014 of a drowning accident in Martha Lake north of Seattle, Washington. Ken lived in Lake City and was at a family picnic enjoying the beautiful weather and the water of Martha Lake.  While wading in the lake along the shore he became entangled in some lily pads and the mud they grow in became like quicksand pulling him down and under the water, where he drowned.    

Ken's good friend Russell Ranz (BHS '63) says, "Ken was a good friend, loyal, and always looking to give you a hand."
