Dennis was a member of the BHS Class of 1962 until he moved to Salem Oregon with his family in 1960. He graduated from South Salem High School in 1962.
Dennis died of a massive heart attack on Sepetember 10,1997, two days after his 53rd birthday, and 16 months after the death of his wife Nann, from colon cancer. They had two children, Scott and Heidi and four grandchildren. He and Nann owned and operated two 76 Union Oil Stations as well as Ole's Automotive and Towing. He was active in the Salem 20-30 Club and had a love for Model A Fords of which he restored several. He and Nann belonged to the Salem Model A Ford Club and traveled to many Model A events in their Model A, which I believe, was a 1929 model. They also enjoyed camping and fishing as well as many sporting events.
Dennis attended the 35 year reunion of the BHS Class of '62, which was held two months before his death. He shared with me the highlights of that event and was so happy to have been able to see and visit with many of you.
