ROBERT GRABLE OBITUARY
Robert G. Grable 1924 ~ 2004
Our loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away December 29, 2004 surrounded by his family.  Robert G. Grable was born June 21, 1924 in San Jose, California. He married Patricia B. Getty on June 21, 1947 in Palo Alto, California. They were the parents of two sons, Roger and Christopher.  Robert was a World War II veteran, having survived Normandy, Ardennes, and the Rhineland. He earned a Master's Degree from Stanford University and taught at Huntington Beach High School for 35 years. Bob and Pat retired and in 1993 moved to South Jordan to be closer to their grandchildren.  Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pat, his two sons, Roger and Christopher (Robyn), grandchildren Diana (Dale), Adam, Brandon (Charley), Scott, Stacy, and Trent, and four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Max, Nick, and Eden. Dad will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit and his devotion as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an example to all and endured a lengthy battle against lupus with dignity.  Grandpa, we love you!
