Floyd, 87, Lima, OH, died at 1:30 p.m., at medical center
He was the son of Henry and Ola (Ellis) Reaves. On Nov 17, 1950, he married Mary Jane Hefner, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are a son, David F. (Theresa), Lima; a daughter, Susan Fox, Lima; four grandchildren, Ryan C. (Jacalyn) Holman, Amanda J. (David) Crowell, Michael S. Reaves and Jessica L. Reaves and two great-granddaughters, Abigail J. Crowell and Ella M. Holman.
Deceased are seven brothers, Curry, Melvin, Walter, Wallace, Jim, Gene and Donald Reaves; and a sister, Lydia Jan Rigdon.
He had been a control systems specialist and retired from SOHIO/BP, having worked there from 1950 to 1981. He had a bachelor's degree in engineering from Miami University.
Funeral services are at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, with the Rev. David Ross, officiating.
