Bill Ewing – correct name is Martin William Ewing, Class of 1943

Born 6 Apr 1925 in Las Vegas, NV. On the WW II Registration Cards Young Men, Bill lists a post office box and Boulder City as his residence. Age 20, he is unemployed and his nearest relative is a sister Miss Betty Louise Ewing, same P. O. Box in Boulder City. Bill's parents were Willa Bell Bynum (1890-1941) and Albert Austin Ewing (1884-1944). On 20 February 1954, Bill married Ila Fern Penington (1919-1998) in Las Vegas. They had a daughter. He died in 17 Sep 1968 in Long Beach, CA, and both he and his wife Ila are buried in Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

Bill's parents ran the railroad station and lived there also.   Bill was the first of his and her class to join the Army in WWII.
