Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend, Maurette passed away January 26, 2014. Maurette was born May 21, 1926, in Cedar Fort, Utah to Sophronia and Joseph Herbert Rodeback. She was the youngest of 9 children. Maurette was raised in Cedar Fort, Utah, and Boulder City, Nevada. She served as a Project Administrator for the Bureau of Reclamation, with which she traveled a great deal and received many awards. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she enjoyed singing in the choir, serving, and volunteering in many aspects.
Maurette married Lucius W. (Hap) Boardman. They had 3 children together, and later divorced.
Married Jesse N. MacDonald, with whom she also had 3 children, and later divorced.
Survived by children Terri (Wendell) Brown, Kevin (Jan) Boardman, Laurie (Curley) Green, Charelynne (Jim) Tripp, and Scott (Krista) MacDonald; 20 Grandchildren; and 20 Great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her son, Stephen, a grandson, Whitney Boardman, and her beloved Hap.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 31, 2014 at the LDS Chapel, 2260 North Main, Centerville, where a private family viewing will be held 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
