Joyce J. Norwood, age 90, died on February 20, 2018 in her home in Albuquerque. She was born in Salt Lake City to Harold and Genevieve Julian March 2, 1927, the oldest of three children. She attended the University of NM where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. In 1948, she married Dub Norwood in Boulder City, NV. They moved back to Albuquerque, in 1949, so she could work to help Dub through college.

Together they had five children, Joy Cowan (Tim) of Enumclaw, WA, Jeanette Baca (deceased), Jackie, Jill Fanning (Jeff) of San Diego, and John (Kathy).

She is survived by her sister, Georgia McCollum of Collierville, TN; brother, Willard Julian of Boulder City, NV; and her four children; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed by many.

Services will be held Saturday, March 3 at 2:00 pm at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE in Albuquerque.
