Jack Painter was my stepfather. He passed away January 19, 2007. He is buried in the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City. Unsure if 1949 would have been his correct graduating class? He was born October 11,1927. He enlisted in the Navy 6/9/45 and was discharged 11/4/48. He completed high school while in the Navy. Please feel free to contact me if I can be of additional assistance.

I then found his Obit in the RJ  :
