Connie Clark (1972)

Marlene passed away suddenly on January 12, 2011. She was born May 1, 1934 in Caliente, Nevada and raised in Boulder City, Nevada, where she had a brief modeling career. Her Hoover Dam (forever Boulder Dam in her heart) postcards can still be found today in the Nevada area. She married Charles Seevers Clark on September 5, 1953, and they began their family. They later moved to California and was a resident of Yuba City for over 42 years. Together they raised five daughters. Marlene's greatest joy was her family. Every member received a handmade Christmas stocking and every grandchild and great- grandchild received a cross-stitched blanket upon their birth. Baking was also a big part of her life, with over 50 years of annual Christmas baking with her daughters, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Marlene and Chuck were active members in the Moose Lodge for many years. Marlene was always known for her quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor. She is preceded in death by her father Melvin Moore, mother Verda Davis, step- mother Muriel "Sue" Moore, and brother Mel "Dick" Moore. Survivors include her husband, Chuck Clark; daughters: Linda Clark-Koball, Shirl (Perry) Pasquale, Nancy Clark, Patty (Steve) Wright, Connie Clark; numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
