on december 1 2021 edwin "jigger" herbert passed away at home of natural causes. we celebrated 65 years of married life in march. i cant remember his alumni access to post to his page.

He is survived by : his wife Bernice Herbert; his children, Dealia Duncan, Melissa Johnson Bolster, Amanda Butler, Edwin C Herbert and Penelope Van Muyden; and his step-grandchildren, Leslie Freebairn, Lou Ann Grier, Bradford Duncan, Ronald W Johnson III, Jacob, Jason Williamson, Scott, Steven Blondeaux, Amanda Santos, Stephanie Douglas, Sarah Barber and Anne Louise Howerton. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 10th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the United States National Cemetery.
