
PATRICIA BULLOCH Patricia Jeanne Bulloch, 82, passed away peacefully January 13, 2018, in Las Vegas. She was born November 13, 1935, in Las Vegas, to Walter and Patty Masterson Swartz. Patricia, known as Pat, grew up in Boulder City. She graduated from Boulder City High School in Boulder City, in 1953. After high school, she attended Northern Arizona University, in Flagstaff, Arizona for one year on a home economics scholarship. Pat married the love of her life, Boyd Cox Bulloch, in 1955 in Boulder City. They were happily married for 63 years. Boyd and Pat settled in North Las Vegas, in 1959. Pat was a woman of boundless energy and a strong sense of duty who believed intensely in the importance of a safe, secure and healthy environment for her family. She worked tirelessly to provide that and raised her 11 children in a house that always seemed to hold the aroma of freshly baked bread. Pat never waivered in church attendance and responsibilities in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). From 1988-1991, Pat served with her husband as he presided over the Mississippi Jackson Mission for the LDS Church. She was a past member of Xi Alpha Delta, a local chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and a former officer of P.E.O., a cultural organization. Pat loved sewing, crocheting and making ceramics to decorate her home and give as gifts. In 1998, Pat received the distinguished honor of being awarded "Mother of the Year" by the American Mothers Inc., Nevada Association. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Lewis Swartz and Patty Victoria Masterson Swartz; her brother, Walter Lawrence Swartz; grandson, Michael Howard Avance; and great-grandson, Declan Donald Peattie. Pat is survived by her adoring husband, Boyd of North Las Vegas; her children, Bruce Bulloch, Randy (Robyn) Bulloch, Howard (Cristi) Bulloch, Dee Dee (Fadi) Khayat, Alicia (Mike) Avance, Brent (Diane) Bulloch, Bonnie Bulloch, Scott (Michelle) Bulloch, Troy (Erin) Bulloch, Roger (Megan) Bulloch and Rebecca (Kent) Wagner. Pat was very proud to be a grandmother to 52; and great-grandmother to 47 children. Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 20, with service following, at 11 a.m., both at Civic Center and Tonopah Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2401 E. Tonopah Ave., N. Las Vegas, NV 89030. Burial will follow at Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd.
