LEON ISOM Leon Isom, 71, died May 21, 2007, after a lengthy illness. Leon was born Aug. 23, 1935, in Virgin City, Utah, to Leonard and Elizabeth Isom. Leon lived in Hurricane, Utah, as a small child, but spent most of his youth in Boulder City. He graduated from Boulder City High School. Leon served in the U.S. Army. He lived for several years in the Monterey, Calif. area before returning to Las Vegas in 1972. He worked as an estimator for local electrical contractors. Leon was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn; siblings, Elmo, Nola, Fawn and Elnora. He is survived by his daughter, Debra (John) of Reno; sons, Rian (Kim) of Sparks, and Roger of Las Vegas; brother, Cleo of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled through Affordable Cremation & Burial Service. Burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
