I wanted to pass on a few comments about my brother, Jim Schenk. Jim graduated the Mackay School of Mines, University of Nevada in mining engineering and then headed off to South America where he spent the rest of his life. Jim passed away in 1983 from stomach cancer. Jim loved the mining industry and had many wonderful adventures in Peru seeking the next big bonanza. Jim was a loving father, became more Peruvian than most locals in the country, and had a great love of life. After all these years we still miss him!
