Blake McCune was one of 6 boys. His Mother was a sweet lady having been born in Europe. Blake was the fastest runner in our class, but due to Rheumatic Fever and heart issues he was not allowed to play in organzied sports. His Father worked for the Los Angeles Water and Power and was given a transfer when Blake was a Sophomore in High School. Blake and family moved to the LA area, I think Monrovia. He was married and had 5 children. Later he married Paulette. Blake was a kind, friendly, loving friend. He attended most Class of '56 Reunions and remained loyal to his BC classmates. He will be missed, 'til we meet again.
