Roy Atkin (1956)
Tom was a great Patriot having served in the Navy in Vietnam Nam . Tom could fix almost anything. He was super intelligent and was able to think quickly. His talent and abilities were recognized in his military service.
He survived a "pig" heart valve replacement , the first such surgery in Kingman Arizona in 2012. His dry humor is exhibited when he gives a greeting by saying "oink" which he says "comes from his heart".
Tom was a practical joker. Those in Mr Haar's chemistry class will remember the hole in the pants situation, which will forever be "etched" in our minds due to Tom's antics.
"Til we meet again". Your friend. Roy Atkin '56. "Thanks for the Memories"
