Kaye Ann Kine (Rowland) was born June 7, 1938 and passed away February 6, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was much loved and will be missed by her family.
Kaye grew up in Boulder City, Nevada where she was very active in school and social activities. She was a cheerleader and a member of the Future Homemakers of America, the International Order of Rainbow Girls, as well as many other school and civic organizations. Kaye won several awards and beauty pageants in the 1950’s and was a lifeguard at Lake Mead during the summer months which were some of her fondest memories.
Kaye was a wonderful stay at home mother who always made sure her family was well cared for and loved. She enjoyed many social activities; including bowling, skiing, golf, camping and sorority and she loved to go dancing at every opportunity. Kaye enjoyed planting flowers and spent her later year’s snow birding between Bend, Oregon and Boulder City, Nevada. Kaye was preceded in death by her mother and father, Helen and Chuck Rowland and brother, Jim Bob Rowland.
She is survived by her three children, Lisa Vincent (Bill Vincent), Deedie Lagala (David Lagala) and Larry Kine (Brenda Kine). Nine 9 grandchildren, Katie and Jake Vincent, Debra Shreve, Stephanie Lagala, Danae Lagala, Cameron Lagala, Colby Kine, Skylar Kine and Shelby Steele, as well as 5 great grandchildren, KJ Winn, Hunter and Taylor Shreve, Jacoby Kendrick and Tanner Lagala.
A celebration of life will be held 1:00pm March 31, 2023 at Grace Community Church 1150 Wyoming St. Boulder City, Nevada 89005. In lieu of flowers her family requests donations be made to the Alzheimers Association.
