Bob Bees was the vice-president of the Boulder City High School in 1955-1956.  I can still see himi standing in front of the Student Body leading the Pledge of Alligance.

Bob was the soul child of his parents.  His Mother taught piano lessons to numerous Boulder City residents, mostly young students.

Bob's great claim to fame was winning the Soap Box Derby which was run down the hill of Colorado Street Other contestants were Dick Dossett, Larry McCollum, Lloyd Gieck to name a few.

Bob attended the Naval Academy and served as a pilot.  He left the Navy and worked as an engineer

Later Bob was a waiter in a 5 Star Restaurant in Florida.  Jim Widner and Pepper Coombs ate at the restaruant and meet  Bob while he served there.

I spoke to his second wife and learned he had two sons by his first wife.

Bob drove his car to the 50th Class Reunion in 2006.  He passed away about 4 years later.

He will be remembered as a great  classmate.
