Pete was surely a great, warm guy to know and associaye with. When I was in the Navy and our ship tied up in Yokosuka, Japan, I was sitting in the Radio Shack when from our door, I hear, "Hello Ralph." Turning, it was Pete Davis! We were a very long way from the familiar halls of BCHS a fast ocean away and several hundred miles. Seeing and talking with Pete that day was fantastic. The next time I saw Pete was at our reunion (I think the 50th) at Railroad Pass Hotel. He, myself and Dave Lyon met him there. It was an unforgetable time spent and of course, a lot o' water under the hull! Sea Stories abounded! While on Facebook, I came across his site and a Reverend back his way posted infomation that he'd passed away. Socially, we hadn't mixed much in high school but, we sort of caught up later on. I never got to meet his wife, but did meet his daughter at the reunion dinner. She was a pleasant woman.I sure miss Pete but feel assured we'll meet again in another time and place.
