I was a close friend of Paul's, along with Dallas Adair, Buddy Johnson, Melvin Beary and some others.

There are times when I almost reach for the phone or send an email, to see how things are going. The same thing happened to me when my mom died too. Well, it's not unusual I guess, and probably some of you have had the same experience.

I had a chance visit with him about a couple years before he passed, and we kicked around BC a while, of course it'd changed from the older days, but nonetheless, we had a good time, and most places we went reminded us of those early days and fun times and friends.

His sister had an estate sale, down in Vegas. Dallas Adair and I, went there. I picked up a few guns that Paul had collected and I think Dallas did too.

Paul had been in the Navy, about the same time as I was along with Bud Johnson. He was stationed ashore in Okinawa, being one of the SeaBees (construction battalion). We often shared stories about the Navy days. :)

Miss him, and perhaps many others do. God bless ya Paul. See ya later on.
