John Heric 68, died February 9, 2011 of a heart attack on San Juan Island, Washington. He was foremost an artist, teacher, musician, husband and friend. John was an art professor for 36 years, 34 of them at the University of Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Kang; daughters, Samantha and Morsan; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
