Paul was one of my best friends in high school, and my wife and I did get to meet Paul and Mary in person, and we got a chance to reminisce during a visit to the San Francisco bay area in 2004. May he rest in peace! -- BILL HERALD

Paul was always a guy I admired--very smart, strong, talented in music, certain to be successful (and was). I'm sorry I did not get to see him after my high school years.

Klebba was my best friend all through junior high--Avenue H and Avenue I.gang. I saw him a few times in Benica and he came to Boulder Creek once. Another one bites the dust. What can I say?--it hurts.

The Klebba family were friends since the days when my parents lived on H Street (before I was born) . Paul was always the the big kid going places. I remember Mary his Mom well as well as father Emmett, who offered to teach me electric guitar before the rock revolution hit in the sixties. Boy did I miss that opportunity.
