Eddie, John Sharp and I traded a bike for a old 48 coupe. John,l Eddie and I worked on that car which had not seats for days. One day we took the car out on the Boulder Highway trying to start it by pushing it with our muscle and also a car behind. It began to rain. John told me to sit on the fender and try to adjust the carborator. In doing so John said we are getting no spark. I reached down to check it and received a jolt sending me onto the highway. Bleeding I went home. Eddie took the old car out somewhere and drove it off a cliff.
Eddie had energy and enthuisiasm. He was comical and fun. God rest his soul. 'Til we meet again !
