BRIAN FOX Brian O. Fox, born June 5, 1940 in Baltimore, died December 5, 2019, at age 79. Brian completed a thirty-year career with the Clark County School District as a teacher and administrator, the last thirteen years as the principal of Boulder City High School. During that time, he also served as a member of the Nevada State Commission on AB848, the president of the Nevada Association of School Administrators, a member of the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association Board of Control and the Boulder City Drug Abuse Council. He also received a number of recognitions including the Southern Nevada Service to Education Award, the Southwestern Self-Esteem Conference Award for Outstanding Contributions to Community, the Clark County School District Participative Leadership Award, the KLAS TV Educator of the Year Award, the Masonic Lodge Service to the Youth of Boulder City Award, the Distinguished Service to the Secondary Students of Clark County Award, Service to the Athletes of the State of Nevada AA Division Award, the NIAA Service Award to the Students of Nevada and induction into the Boulder City High School Golden Eagle Hall of Fame. Following retirement in 1993, he spent twenty-five years as a tour guide and raft pilot on the Colorado River between Hoover Dam and Willow Beach, Arizona. He was also a co-founder of the Boulder City United Methodist Church in 1999. He is survived by his wife, of 56 years, Linda; sons, Christopher and David Fox; and granddaughter, Chloe Fox. Those desiring to make a memorial donation may do so to the Boulder City United Methodist Church. A celebration of life will be held in January 2020.

I didn't realize until now that Brian died in late 2019. I'm so sorry! You had been with Brian almost your entire life. What a difficult time to lose him! I'm sure you're still adjusting. Brian brought energy and humor wherever he went and the two of you seemed like a hand in a glove.
