Mickey was a charismatic individual who I used to run into around Las Vegas many years after leaving BCHS. I knew him very little in High School, except as one of the several 'Lansfords' that populated Boulder City. And even then his charisma and fun loving attitude was apparent (seems to be a family trait). But I got to know him a little better after his younger brother Dick and I became partners in a Farmers Insurance Agency and then I became aware that Mickey, Dick and even Ronnie were insurance practicioners as well as iron workers.
Mickey never failed to lift my spirits when I was around him. I will miss him and know everyone who knew him will as well. I wish the best to his family and am happy to have had him as a friend.
