In February of this year, I lost my dear friend of so many years (we go back to grammer school days and lived across the street from one another)to cancer, after waging a 3-year battle.

I'm so grateful for the many visits I had the good fortune of making to L.V.through the years, both before and during her illness. And there were the many times she was able to come to this area, as well.

I miss her very much, but take comfort in the fact I remain in touch with her two wonderful daughters, Lynn and Laurie. We consider each other family and I love them dearly.

May my dear friend, Susie, rest in peace-----

With love and fond memories - Darleen
