Larry was always smiling and made everyone feel good. Whenever Bill Trelease car ran out of gas, Larry would drive me down to the lake. Boy, I loved those bubble pipes on his truck. They would bubble all the way to the lake. Will miss his smiling face. Sleep well Larry.Joan Harvey (Nelson) (1960)
Larry was a warm-hearted, upbeat guy who always had a friendly word. I remember him fondly. I'm sorry for your loss, Karen. I will be thinking of you both. Fondly, Joan

Don't know where to start with Larry... how bout Baseball... wow, he was a wild lefty.. it was a workout catching him.. I loved his attitude.. he was so wild nobody wanted to bat against him!! We had a lot of fun...
He was always "upbeat" and ready to go... His parents were always so good to me... no matter how much trouble Larry and I got into.. There isn't time or space here to say how much I enjoyed the time we spent together ... he was a special guy.. will never forget you Larry ... great memories.. see you on the other side!

I loved Larry's bubbly personality, always happy, always willing to help someone. If I remember correctly, he was the first male cheerleader on the team and really cheered with enthusiasm. Very sorry to hear about his passing.
Dick Trelease (1959)
Just today read about his passing. Very sorry to learn this. Larry was a good friend of mine ina ll ways and at all times. I think of him while in AZ as Mr. Boulder City, true blue BC person. I will miss seeing him when I visit BC; hard to imagine him not driving around there. My warmest sympathies to you Karen! Dick (and Bill) Trelease

I'm a little bit in shock right now--I didn't know Larry had died. He was one of my best friends back in 1959 and the memories I have are many. He was always the first person I saw at a class reunion and, of course, we talked about the antics, both printable and not so printable, from those old days. I realize now that I was really counting on seeing him in 2019. Well, who knows, maybe I will.
