Hello Maggie ... Thanks for the info about Bob & Marion .. They were such a nice couple .. I meet them when they bravely returned to bchs to get their diplomas with the class of 1958.
Hi, Jim--I had forgotten (if I ever knew--communications weren't so "easy" back then) that they did that. It was indeed brave, nice of you to recognize that. I was most impressed, later on, with what my brother did with his education--he very nearly completed an engineering degree. Later he rose to Maintenance Foreman (started as a laborer at the dam!) for the LA Dept of Power & Light at one of their power plants near LA, then worked "downtown" as their prime consultant on plant maintenance.
