Mother was secretary to Mr. McCormick, Principal, Mr. Edwards, Superintendent and kept the books for the Jr. High and High School. I remember that our phone would start ringing at 7:00 in the morning as she would get substitutes for the teachers calling in that they were unable to teach that day. She used her own car to do the school banking, take mail to the post office and run errands for the school. She never asked for reimbursement because that was the way things were done in the 50's and 60's. She was a loving mother, great hostess, and always gave every endeavor her full effort--and did I mention she was a great cook too? I miss her and always will--Barbara
