George passed away on June 26th.2016 in Ellenton, Florida. He is survived by his wife Donna and two sons Chris and Shawn.

My memories are of a truely gentle giant with a fascinating sense of humor.
Much later in life I had brief contact with George, and learned a lot about the true Spirit of Santa Clause.
