Thomas Berry - Class Of 1962

TOM BERRY

Thomas Patrick Berry passed away at his home in Las Vegas on the morning of March 8, 2021 after a lengthy illness, with family by his side. Tom was born in Las Vegas, Nevada February of 1944 and was raised by his parents, Nolan Berry and Alice Berry (Marshall) in Boulder City. As a youth Tom was a gifted athlete and excelled in swimming, baseball, basketball, football and track, even competing in the So. NV Jr. Olympics. He went to college in South Dakota for 2 years on a football scholarship and followed with 2 years of college in Cedar City, Utah. At the age of 24 Tom was drafted to the United States Army and proudly served his Country. He was stationed in Germany from 1968-1970. After serving his country Tom worked for many years as a Realtor/Broker in Las Vegas. Tom was an engineer in the hotel industry before he retired. Tom was a devoted father. He greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. Tom is survived by his 2 sons Thomas Ryan Berry (Rhonda) and Jonathan Daniel Berry (Rodora), grandchildren Mathew Chisum, Karissa Chisum, Jordan Berry and Juliet Berry. And his older, dumber brother Mike. He is proceeded in death by his parents and brothers Jerry and Steve.

So sad to rear of Tom's passing my best goes out to Mike and the rest of the family. We go back to Junior High when there Dad was our football couch.πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ's to all.

Tom was a very nice person and I'm sad to hear of his passing. My sympathy to the family.

Sorry to hear of Tommy's passing. Seems like we're getting a smaler class every year. Tommy and I would see each other periodically in Vegas, but never really got to talk more than we did at reunions. Denny and I send our thoughts and prayers to his family.
